Pocket Patience

Play Pocket Patience free online

Pocket Patience is a free online solitaire card game with deals that start small and grow to a full table. Build columns down in alternating colours, move runs of cards together, and send every card up to its suit pile from ace first. Every deal is checked to be winnable, so a loss is on you. It plays in the browser on phone or computer, with no sign-in. It suits a quick break, because each small deal can be cleared in a minute or two.

How to play Pocket Patience

1. Tap a card: it goes home, or onto a card one higher in the other colour.
2. Two places fit? Tap the card, then the place. Tap the deck to draw.
3. Clear a deal to bank time for a bigger one. Undo costs 4 seconds.

Pocket Patience tips

• Uncover face-down cards first, since each column you open gives you more moves.
• Keep an empty column free for a top-rank card rather than filling it with whatever is handy.
• Draw three cards at a time when you want more challenge, and recycle the waste as often as needed.
