Crumble Burrow is a free online route-planning puzzle in an underground ant colony. Swipe a little ant from chamber to chamber, gather every crumb, and reach the queen's gate. Some tunnels fall in behind you the first time you cross them, so the order of your moves matters. It plays in the browser on phone or computer, with no sign-in. Eight nests make a run, and each one is generated fresh from a seed.

How to play Crumble Burrow

You see one chamber of the colony up close and the whole map below it. Swipe anywhere (or tap the arrows) to walk the ant one chamber through an open tunnel. Pick up every crumb, then reach the queen's gate. A wall is a free bump; every step you take costs a little energy.
Tunnels with stones on them are crumbly: they fall in behind you, so you can cross each one only once. Plan the order on the map, because a fallen tunnel can trap the ant. UNDO takes a step back (it costs one more energy, three per nest). No energy, or no way out, costs one of your three hearts. Haul crumbs home through all eight nests to win.
Using the fewest swipes scores most, and perfect nests in a row add a streak bonus. HINT shows the next swipe: 2 free per game.

Crumble Burrow tips

Study the whole map before moving, because a fallen tunnel can cut you off from a crumb.
Cross crumbly tunnels last when you can, or only when the route ahead is clear.
Use undo to take back a swipe, but remember it costs one extra energy.
