Play Crate Cove free online
Crate Cove is a free online falling-block puzzle set on a small pier. Crates made of four boxes drop into a bay ten wide, and you slide, turn and speed them to complete full rows that ship out. Clearing several rows at once scores much higher. It plays in the browser on phone or computer, with no sign-in, and speeds up through twelve levels. A run can last a few minutes, and strong players can stretch it much longer.
How to play Crate Cove
- Crates fall onto the pier. Drag or use the arrow buttons to slide them, tap or press TURN to turn them, and hold DOWN or flick down to drop them faster.
- Fill a whole row to ship it out. Shipping four rows at once scores far more than four single rows.
- HOIST swaps the falling crate with the NEXT one. You start with 2 and earn another for every 4 rows shipped. Stuck? HINT shows where the crate fits best.
Crate Cove tips
- Keep the pile flat and leave one column open, then drop a long crate to ship four rows at once.
- Use the dashed ghost to check where a crate will land before you let it fall.
- Spend a HOIST charge to swap away a crate that would land badly, and earn one back every four rows.
Crate Cove questions
- How does the speed change?
- There are 12 levels. The crates fall faster as your score passes each step, and the bar under the score shows how far the next level is.
- What is HOIST?
- A limited swap: the falling crate goes back up and the NEXT crate takes its place. You hold at most 3 and earn one for every 4 rows you ship.
- The pile reached the top. Is the run over?
- Yes. Tap play again to start a new run.
