Play Swap Cross free online
Swap Cross is a free online word puzzle that feels like fixing a tiny crossword. Letter tiles sit in a crossword shape, and every row and column of touching tiles must spell a real word. Swap two loose tiles by dragging or tapping, and a tile turns green once every word through it is right. It runs in the browser on phone or computer, and there is no sign-in. Each solved board adds time and brings a harder one, so your score counts boards cleared.
How to play Swap Cross

- Make every row and column read as a word. Pinned tiles never move.
- Each solved board adds time. Undo and hints are there when you are stuck.

- Leave pinned tiles alone, because they never move, and build each word around the letters they fix.
- Start with the longest word and its rare letters, then let shorter crossing words fall into place.
