Play Word Weave free online
Word Weave is a free online word puzzle written like a page of riddles in a notebook. Read the clue, then tap letters from a small table to fill the answer row slot by slot. The table holds the answer letters plus a few decoys, and a wrong word wipes the row and costs time. It plays in the browser on phone or computer, with no sign-in. Each solved riddle adds seconds to the clock, so confident answers keep the run going.
How to play Word Weave
- Read the clue and tap table letters to spell the answer.
- Tap an answer letter to take it back. A full row is checked at once.
- Right words add time, wrong words cost 5 seconds. Hint places one letter.
Word Weave tips
- Count the answer slots first, since the number of letters rules out many tempting words.
- Ignore letters that clearly do not fit the clue, because the table includes a few decoys.
- Think the whole word through before tapping the last slot, since a wrong answer costs five seconds.
Word Weave questions
- Is every riddle solvable?
- Yes. Each letter table is built from the answer plus decoys, and the tests check it.
- What are checkpoints?
- Your furthest stage is saved. A new run restarts at the last stage that is a multiple of 10 plus 1 (1, 11, 21 and so on).
